"Handwash Reminder"®
The best place to have the "Handwash Reminder" installed is in every bathroom facility.
The best location to install the Handwash Reminder is on the ceiling above the entry door.
The purpose of this is to capture a person entering the bathroom facility
and to remind them to "Please, Don't forget to wash your hands".
This will also capture them prior to exiting the bathroom facility.
Reminding them again to "Please, Don't forget to wash your hands".
A voice reminder is much more effective than traditional hand washing signs!!
Your "HANDWASH REMINDER" is now ready to help prevent the spread of viruses, diseases, germs and bacteria. Some Ceilings may be higher or maybe you prefer not to mount it on your ceiling. To Install the unit on a Wall On the wall, behind the door upon opening, is another location for the "HANDWASH REMINDER". This ensures that every time the door opens or closes, the sensor is activated. Open your restroom door and look towards the top of the door near the wall. That spot on the wall would be the location. If your restroom does not have a wall behind the door, the wall facing that door will be suitable (up to six (6) feet away). Try to ensure that the motion sensor must be passed to go into the bathroom and out. Your "HANDWASH REMINDER" is now ready to help prevent the spread of viruses, germs and bacteria. RESIDENTIAL INSTALLATION
Ceiling Installation, Instructions and Location
Upon entering the restroom, STOP!, look up at the ceiling and notice the area above your head.
That would be the best location you want to install your "HANDWASH REMINDER".
You should be standing one step into the restroom. (Approx. 2-3 feet).
You should be standing right in the way of the door from closing.
By installing the "HANDWASH REMINDER" in this location ensures that the sensor will capture
the door or a person upon opening and closing the restroom door.
This location is not necessary, however, provides a better chance of making sure the product works in more than one way.
Please keep in mind that the motion sensor will reset itself in thirty (30) seconds.
This is now ready to capture the next person either coming in or going out.
Ensuring that the message is heard.
To install the unit on the ceiling
You may mount your "HANDWASH REMINDER" to any wall in your restroom that captures a person entering or exiting.
We feel on the wall behind the door is more suitable, but not necessary.
In the Commercial / Industrial environment it is not recommended to mount the
"HANDWASH REMINDER" on a wall.
It is highly recommended to install where necessary.
In addition to a sign, an automatic voice reminder will only increase the chance of employees and the public are washing their hands and possibly even reduce your liability.
Every restroom facility should have one above each entry door way.
The "HANDWASH REMINDER" will capture movement up to six (6) feet away.
To install the unit on the Ceiling
That would be the best location you want to install your "HANDWASH REMINDER".
You should be standing one step into the restroom. (Approx. 2-3 feet).
You should be standing right in the way of the door from closing.
